EVENT INFORMATION

Players must be at least 55 years (Senior) and at least 25 years of age (Mid-Amateur) by the first day of competition. The 100-team field in each Championship will be selected as follows (if qualified applicant received by deadline):  (A) Past SDGA team champions since 2000; (B) Low 40 teams (and ties) from 2016 Senior Two-Man Championship and low 40 teams (and ties) from 2016 Mid-Amateur Two-Man Championship; (C) Remainder of both fields will be filled by in order of applications received until each field reaches 100 teams. Once 100 teams for a championship are entered, all others are placed on a waiting list in the order the application was received. If a championship has a waiting list, no substitutions will be permitted for a team already in the field. If total number of entries received does not exceed 100 teams for a championship, all qualified entries will be accepted. Entire field of both championships will compete at gross and championship will be pre-flighted based on team index. The SDGA reserves the right to move teams out of flight for Day 2 if in contention for the overall championship. Overall champion of each division will be team with lowest 36-hole score regardless of flight. Format will be as follows: Day 1, Four-Ball; Day 2, Modified Chapman. Seniors play Saturday at Lee Park GC and Sunday at Moccasin Creek CC.  Mid-Amateurs play Saturday at Moccasin Creek CC and Sunday at Lee Park GC.
